The 7th Lecture of the Tamkang Clement and Carrie Chair Lecture Series

On March 26, 2019, the 7th instalment of the Tamkang Clement and Carrie Chair Lecture Series was held at the Hsu Shou-Chlien International Conference Hall, and featured an authority in the fields of artificial intelligence and distance education technology, Dr. Fuhua (Oscar) Lin. Dr. Lin is a professor in the Athabasca University School of Computing and Information Systems, having previously served as the Associate Dean of the Faculty of Graduate Studies at the School. His primary areas of research include intelligence systems, multi-agent systems, game theory, machine learning, and distance education technology. To date, he has published over 100 academic papers.

The topic of Dr. Lin's talk was Multi-agent Systems with Reinforcement Learning, and over 300 faculty members and students attended the event. In addition to the talk, on March 27 Dr. Lin took part in a TKU forum on artificial intelligence technology in which participants discussed the research they previously conducted and their practical experience in the field of artificial intelligence.
