TKU Holds Forum Promoting Green Living

The Taiwan ‘Green University’ Alliance, established in 2013, is a conglomerate of 50 institutions of higher education which aims to reduce carbon emissions and create a more environmentally-friendly college environment in Taiwan. Starting from 2017, numerous ‘green university’ forums have been held in northern, central, and southern Taiwan, with the TKU Office of General Affairs responsible for organizing the northern Taiwan forums.

On March 28, the northern Taiwan forum kicked off at the TKU Ching Sheng International Conference Hall, Tamsui Campus. Over 60 special guests from around Taiwan took part in the event.

The TKU Dean of General Affairs, Dr. Luo, Shiaw-Shyan, said the theme of the forum this time was ‘Improving the Environment, One Bite at a Time’.
