Extracurricular Activities Guidance Section

The 2015 Student Assessment and Achievement Appreciation took place on June 7th in the Student Activity Center. All of TKU’s 140 student groups participated in a vigorous competition and in the end, 44 awards were given out. For this event, 17 officials evaluated the student groups on their performance for the entire year. They also gave tips and suggestions for improvement for the future development of each group.

TKKF and the TKU Campus Culture Construction Team utilized their online and electronic data for the competition, which created vigorous discussion among the other groups. The Comic Team did a performance using Cosplay that was a major focal point of the event and Lanyang Campus also had a diligent performance. The Danhai Comrade Service Team took the stage while the awards were handed out to the groups will special achievements.

Leader of the Student Organization Arts Club and third-year student of the Department of History, Cai-shan Wen, stated, “It’s great to be able to receive an award again this year for our efforts. Our goal is to one day reach twenty awards.” The Student Service Club received an award based on the numerous seeds that planted throughout the year for the preservation of the environment. Club leader and third-year student of the Department of Banking and Financing, Zong-you Chen, exclaimed, “We did it! We had a lot of underdogs in our group, but we pulled it off in the end.”
