TKU Clubs Garner Excellent Results at National Student Club Evaluation

From March 30-31, the TKU ‘Youth Guidance Club’ and the ‘Modern Poetry Society’ took part in the 2019 National College Student Club Evaluation held at National Central University. In total, 258 clubs from 136 universities across the island entered the competition. Tamkang University's Youth Guidance Club – which last year turned up outstanding results – once again shone brightly, recognized with the accolade of "Exceptional Service-Based Club." The Modern Poetry Society, on the other hand, participated in the annual evaluation for the first time, and, from among 41 clubs, was selected to enter the final stage of the competition, where it received the Award for Holding the Most Interesting Club Activities.
The Section Chief of the Extracurricular Activities Guidance Section, Chen Jui-er, stated: "For student clubs that work hard and are keen to take part in the national evaluation, we are more than happy to give them this opportunity. Competing in the evaluation is a form of self-affirmation, and we hope that by participating in this event, students gain more chances to polish their skills, improve their abilities, and achieve success."
