The Otaku International Academic Symposium

On Sat Oct 15, the Otaku International Academic Symposium took place at the Ching Sheng International Conference Hall and the Carrie Chang Music Hall, Tamsui Campus. It was held by the TKU Graduate Institute of Futures Studies and the National Chiao Tung University Program of Digital Cultural and Creative Industry, with help from gamer.com website personnel and the Taiwan Sociological Association of Art and Culture.
During the event, a total of 21 approved dissertations were presented. They explored various aspects of the Anime, Comics, and Games (ACG) industry.
