The International Heat Pipe Symposium

The 11th International Heat Pipe Symposium was held from June 9 to 11 in Beijing, China. The annual event is the largest in its field and is organized by the China Academy of Aerospace Aerodynamics. The Symposium was attended by world-renowned experts and scholars from various countries, including Amir Faghri from the US, Masataka Mochizuki from Japan, Robert Dobson from South Africa, and Shung Wen Kang from Taiwan, who each provided keynote speeches. Attendees came from over 10 countries, including Taiwan, Japan, Korea, America, England, Mainland China, Thailand, South Africa, Byelorussia, and Australia, among others, with a total of over 60 theses presented.
During the Symposium, TKU master’s student Zhang Yu-Sheng received the “Best Thesis Award” from his paper “Temperature Uniformity and Heating Rate Simulation of Vapor Chamber Heat Spreader”.
