The 35th Madam Kao Li-Chou Scholarships Awarded to Three Lucky Students

The presentation ceremony for the 35th Madam Kao Li-chou Scholarship took place Dec 29 at the Tamkang University Taipei Campus. During the ceremony, the Chairwoman of the San Teh Foundation, Ms. Serena Kao, presented a total of three scholarships, valued at NT $50,000 each, to three students. The recipients are students from the TKU Department of Information and Library Science, Department of Public Administration, and Department of Educational Technology respectively. Various senior-level TKU faculty and staff participated in the event, including the Dean of the College of Business and Management, Dr. Tzong-Ru Tsai, the Executive Director of the Office of Alumni Services and Resources, Dr. Yang Shu-Chuen, the Chair of the Department of Information and Library Science, Dr. James C. Ouyang, the Chair of the Department of Banking and Finance, Dr. Chenyu-Lung, and the Chair of the Department of Public Administration, Dr. Yi-ching Hsiao.

To date, the Madam Kao Li-Chou and San Teh scholarships have given away a combined NT $18.6 million, helping a total of 372 students.
